Rotor sails installation on board Valemax
NS United Kaiun Kaisha and Vale International have reached an agreement to install rotor sails manufactured by Anemoi Marine Technologies on board a 400,000dwt Valemax
The 361-metre NSU Tubarao has been chartered long-term by Vale since its delivery in September 2020.
The rotor sails installation is scheduled for September 2025 and fuel and emissions savings of up to 12% are expected.
