Sanmar Shipyards delivers first full-electric tug
Sanmar Shipyards reached a major milestone, delivering its first full-electric tug for Canada-based HaiSea Marine. The battery-electric harbour tug, which is intended to provide services to LNG Canada’s future terminal in British Columbia, was delivered to ABS class.
The harbour tug, Haisea Wamis, is the first of Sanmar Shipyards new ElectRA 2800SX series.
