ClassNK updates alternative fuel guidance
ClassNK’s latest guidelines on the use of alternative fuels now include hydrogen
ClassNK has updated its guidelines for ships running on alternative fuels.
The latest version (Edition 3.0) of its ‘Guidelines for Ships Using Alternative Fuels’ now includes safety requirements for ships using hydrogen as well as those running on methanol, ethanol, LPG and ammonia.
