DNV AiP for dual fuel LPG carriers
DNV has approved the design of HD Hyundai Mipo’s diesel/ammonia 45,000m³ LPG carriers
HMD has developed the basic ship design alongside WinGD who has provided detailed engine specifications and operational data for the carriers.
The designs are based around a new 10,000 horsepower dual-fuel two-stroke engine that uses either ammonia or marine diesel oil.
