East Anglian green hydrogen production facility planned

Initial plans to develop a 100MW electrolyser facility capable of producing up to 40 tonnes of green hydrogen per day at the Port of Felixstowe are under consideration.

Hutchison Ports and ScottishPower are exploring plans to create a green hydrogen production facility at the Port of Felixstowe, UK. The green hydrogen would be used to create hydrogen vectors, such as green ammonia and e-methanol, which could be used to provide fuels for shipping and aviation.
