LR adds biofuels to fuel finder tool

The techno-economic studies will assess the use of each fuel or power technology, including availability, life-cycle emission characteristics and economic aspects.

Lloyd’s Register has taken a decisive step in supporting the maritime industry’s decarbonisation efforts with the introduction of biofuel insights to its Global Fuel Finder tool

The enhancement allows shipping companies and technical teams to easily access, compare and evaluate biofuel availability and quality across major global ports.

Available through the LR GMT platform, the upgraded tool enables users to track six months of data from specific ports and suppliers, monitor trend and generate comprehensive reports.
