MAN and COSCO partner on green fuel retrofits

MAN Energy Solutions has teamed up with COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry on a range of decarbonisation retrofit projects

The new framework agreement will see ships adapted to run on alternative fuels such as methane, methanol and ammonia.

MAN Energy Solutions will provide engine-retrofit technology and digital energy-efficiency solutions, while CHI will use its engineering, procurement and construction expertise in large-scale ship modification projects.
