MAN sees demand for methanol grow

MAN Energy Solutions has secured multiple orders for its MAN B&W G95ME-LGIM Mk 10.5 methanol engines for a series of very large container vessels (VLCV)

This order raises the total number of G95ME-C10.5-LGIM methanol engine orders to 95 across various shipyards in South Korea, China and Japan since the engine’s introduction in 2021.

Five of these engines have already been deployed on VLCVs.
