Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is joining an international alliance aimed at accelerating the development and use of e-methane

Synthesised from CO2 and hydrogen, e-methane is attracting attention as a next-generation fuel with low environmental impact that can be used in existing LNG-fuelled vessels.

The coalition aims to advance net-zero ambitions by developing the necessary assessment criteria and systems for the use of e-methane and strengthening collaboration among companies involved throughout the value chain.
