VPS sees methanol gain traction in the market
Methanol, a rising star among alternative fuels, is gaining momentum as ports and vessels adapt to its use, says Steve Bee, VPS group commercial director.
From January to September 2024, 49% of gross tonnage ordered was for alternative fuel-ready ships, reflecting the industry’s growing commitment to decarbonisation.
