WinGD unveils dual-fuel NH3/LPG engine
WinGD has announced an innovative option for its X-DF-A ammonia-fuelled engines, allowing them to also run on liquefied petroleum gas
This ‘pre-fit’ solution, called X-DF-P, targets vessels currently under construction to meet the anticipated growth in ammonia trade while maintaining the capability to transport LPG.
The global ammonia trade is projected to expand significantly enabling hydrogen transport from renewable energy sites to demand centres worldwide.
