World’s first ammonia bulkers and tankers

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and its subsidiary MOL Chemical Tankers have teamed up with Belgium-based CMB.TECH to jointly own and charter nine Capesize bulkers and chemical tankers that can run on ammonia

These will be the world’s first ammonia dual-fuel Capesize bulkers and chemical tankers.

The deal will see the two jointly own and charter three Capesize bulkers, and jointly time-charter six chemical tankers, two of which run on ammonia with the remaining four being ammonia-ready.
