Azane receives AiP from DNV for its ammonia safety system

Azane Fuel Solutions has received Approval in Principle (AiP) from the classification society DNV for its cutting-edge Ammonia Release Mitigation System (ARMS).

This milestone is part of Azane’s aim of advancing technologies to enable the safe handling of ammonia as a marine fuel, reinforcing its leadership in ammonia bunkering solutions.

The Azane ARMS (pictured) is intricately connected to a vessel’s fuel and engine systems, where it captures ammonia emissions and ensures that any potential releases are contained within safe, regulated thresholds. This technology is crucial in safeguarding both the crew and the environment from the hazardous effects of ammonia exposure.
