New JV to build multi-fuel bulkers

Grieg Edge has created a JV with Peak Group to capitalise on the development of new propulsion models in the short-sea segment.

Two Norwegian shipowners, Peak Group and Grieg Edge, have announced the establishment of a new joint venture, Skarv Shipping. The new JV has plans to build up to four multi-fuel bulk carriers ‘before long’, which are expected to operate in northern Europe.
