Daewoo Shipbuilding and International Paint Korea, announced that they have successfully completed the development and initial tests of a special, environment-friendly and poison-free marine paint that has proved effective in preventing barnacles from attaching to underwater areas.

As a user-friendly paint, this system has the advantage in that it can be applied by spray and then washed off by high-pressure water without causing damage to existing paint already applied to hulls.
