Dayang seals six bulkers

Dayang Shipbuilding in Yangzhou, China, has won an order for six 53,000 dwt handymax bulk carriers from IRISL in Iran at a cost of $29.5 each. First of six will be delivered in February 2008 with the remainder following at two monthly interval. The contract includes options for four sisterships.
