Detector automatically releases safety gear on capsize

Today’s problem is that liferafts, epirbs or other safety equipment can be trapped under capsized vessels or fail to surface

Swedish maritime safety company CM Hammar has introduced new technology claimed to ensure that liferafts and Epirbs can be released automatically so that they float freely when a vessel is in listing condition.
