Cenex joins the Maritime Battery Forum

Cenex, the UK’s centre of excellence for low-carbon and fuel cell technologies, has become a member of the Maritime Battery Forum (MBF), an international network promoting battery-enabled solutions for the maritime sector.

As an independent, not-for-profit research technology organisation (RTO) and consultancy, Cenex specialises in delivering low-emission transport projects, innovation support, and market development. The organisation also focuses on the energy infrastructure needed to support sustainable transport.

According to the MBF, Cenex has contributed to several electrification projects, including initiatives involving small ferries (fewer than 99 passengers), electric rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), and small-scale charging systems for farms and leisure craft.
