Daphne Technology and Williams secure DOE grant for Methane reduction tech

Daphne Technology, in collaboration with Williams, has been awarded a grant of nearly $6 million from the US Department of Energy’s Methane Emissions Reduction Programme (MERP).

The project, named “Daphne and Williams Methane Slip Abatement Plasma-Catalyst Scale-Up”, underscores the pivotal role of technological innovation in addressing methane emissions.

The partnership between Daphne Technology and Williams aims to advance methane abatement solutions in alignment with MERP’s objectives. Daphne Technology’s focus is on reducing methane slip—methane emissions in the exhaust of natural gas engines—through its proprietary SlipPure™ plasma-catalytic technology.
