Cruise first for ABB onboard DC grid
ABB has installed its Onboard DC Grid shore power connection platform for the first time on board a cruise ship
German cruise operator Phoenix Reisen has readied one of its ships for shore power.
The 205m MS Amera has become the first cruise ship to be equipped with ABB’s Onboard DC Grid platform to improve efficiency and lower emissions.
