HD KSOE and DNV team up on CCUS tech

HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering, HD Hydrogen and DNV have teamed up to develop and validate pressure swing adsorption technology for carbon capture in solid oxide fuel cells

Under this joint industry project HD KSOE and its subsidiary HD Hydrogen will focus on integrating PSA-based carbon capture into SOFCs for shipboard power generation.

PSA technology captures and releases CO2 by cyclically adjusting pressure, offering up to 40% greater energy efficiency than conventional CO2 absorption technologies in marine applications.
