Type approval for emissions monitoring system
Type approval has been given by LR for a new ‘pioneering self-reliant emissions monitoring system’
Lloyd’s Register has awarded type approval in principle to SeaARCTOS for its emissions monitoring technology.
ARCTOS-1 monitors carbon dioxide, methane and sulphur dioxide exhaust levels using a dedicated sensor attached to a vessel’s exhaust stack.
