Fincantieri builds Indian oceanographic ship

Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has won a $48 million contract to build an oceanographic ship for the National Institute of Ocean Technology of Madras, India. The 104 metres long and 18 metres wide vessel will be built at the Fincantieri military shipyard at Riva Trigoso and Muggiano.
