MOL inks long-term LNG charter deal

The report will identify the necessary conditions for the successful implementation of LNG

MOL has signed a long-term charter deal for a newbuild LNG carrier with an operator funded by Japanese power company, JERA

This is the sixth contract with JERA, following an earlier time charter contract for five LNG carriers.

Scheduled for delivery in 2027, the 290m vessel has a tank capacity of 174,000m³ and will be built at Samsung Heavy Industries’ Geoje Shipyard.
