MOL to operate Jurong’s first FSRU

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is teaming up with Singapore LNG Corporation, Singapore’s state-owned LNG terminal operator, on a long-term time charter contract for one newbuild floating storage regasification unit

Built by Hanwha Ocean Co. in South Korea, the 299m vessel will have a capacity of 200,000m3 and will be the first FRSU to be moored at Jurong Port in Singapore.

MOL has been developing its global FSRU business to meet the needs of customers who want to diversify their procurement of LNG and ensure a stable supply of energy
