Alfa Laval and NMRI successfully test onboard CO2 capture using EGCS technology
Alfa Laval and NMRI have succeeded in onboard CO2 capture testing using an exhaust gas cleaning system. A limited trial demonstrated that a modified PureSOx exhaust gas cleaning system was able to absorb CO2 from the auxiliary engines in port, while operating in closed loop mode.
