Hapag-Lloyd and Seaspan ink 15+45 MeOH retrofit deal
Seaspan Corporation (Seaspan), the containership owner and manager, in collaboration with Hapag-Lloyd, have signed a Conversion Commitment Agreement with MAN PrimeServ. The deal covers the retrofit of the main engines aboard 15 container vessels equipped with MAN B&W S90-type main engines to dual-fuel MAN B&W ME-LGIM types capable of operation on green methanol. The Agreement includes 45 optional engine retrofit solutions.

Sauer Compressors launches new high-pressure compressor series
Sauer Compressors is launching a new series of high-pressure compressors. The new SAUER Orkan series has been designed for gas industry applications, and is now available in the first four standard types. The new type of compressor is suitable for the compression of many gases and a wide variety of applications, and uses a newly developed magnetic coupling to ensure the compressors are hermetically gas-tight.
