Philippines-based passenger ferry operator Starlite Ferries has added Accelleron’s digital engine optimisation solution Tekomar Xpert for all eight of its vessels during the recent renewal of its existing turbocharger services agreement with Accelleron.

Starlite Ferries extended the scope as well as the duration of its Turbo LifecycleCare agreement during the recent three-year agreement, adding one further vessel to the seven previously covered by the turbocharger services deal. With this contract Accelleron retains responsibility for service planning and spare parts ordering for a total of 16 type A135-M turbochargers.

Starlite Ferries will also deploy Tekomar Xpert for the first time on eight ships. Starlite Ferries handles daily traffic of around 10,000 passengers and more than 1,500 vehicles.
