Lloyd’s Register has awarded its first VC-L+ Descriptive Note for vessel connectivity to Neda Maritime’s very large car carrier, marking the first LR vessel to complete this verification

The certification highlights the MT Ascona’s advanced connectivity system which reportedly enables high-quality livestreaming and real-time data exchange, improving decision-making and safety.

During the verification process, LR evaluated MT Ascona’s vessel-shore connectivity, onboard wireless network and livestreaming abilities.
