Schottel propulsion for Damen tugs
Four new Damen ASD stock tugs are to be equipped with Schottel RudderPropellers type SRP 270
The compact 1810-series tugs have a length of just 18.25 metres and a beam of 10.23 metres. Each has a bollard pull of 30 tonnes.
Each tug will be equipped with two units of 1,000 kilowatts per unit, with a propeller diameter of 1.9 metres.
