Wind-assisted cargo ship up for charter

Wind turbine manufacturer, Enercon, has entered into a new partnership with EMS Chartering for the chartering of its wind-assisted, multi-purpose vessel, the ‘E-Ship 1’

This collaboration aims to increase the presence of the wind-assisted cargo ship in the global charter market. 

The E-Ship 1 is a 130m LoRo vessel, equipped with advanced technologies including a diesel-electric propulsion system and four Flettner rotors.
