Argentina to Raise Antarctic Profile

Argentina’s long-mooted plan for the construction of a new polar research support ship has moved a key stage forward. The government has formally approved a contract with the state-owned Tandanor shipyard relating to the basic engineering design and production design facilities for the envisaged, heavy-duty icebreaker.
