CMAL Selects Turkish Shipyard for Second Ferry Order

CalMac plans to award Turkish shipyard Cemre Marin Endustri the contract for two  new ferries to serve the Scottish islands.

Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) has announced that it plans to award a second order for two 95m ro-pax ferries to Turkish shipyard Cemre Marin Endustri. The new vessels will serve the Little Minch routes to Lochmaddy and Tarbert in the southern Hebrides.
