World’s largest non-military hospital ship, the Chinese-built Global Mercy

A unique newbuild project to create the world’s largest civilian hospital ship has now moved into the final outfitting phase. Following construction and delivery in China, the 174m Global Mercy sailed to Antwerp for installation of medical equipment and IT systems, in anticipation of first deployment next spring.
