ESVAGT chooses Brunvoll propulsion package

Brunvoll has been chosen as the supplier of a complete propulsion and manoeuvring system for a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) designed to operate on green fuel, currently being built for ESVAGT at Cemre Shipyard.

The 93m long vessel, based on a HAV 833 SOV design by HAV Design, is scheduled to enter into a 10-year charter for Ørsted at their UK East Coast Hub upon delivery. The vessel will be equipped with methanol-electric propulsion system, including a battery pack that allows very low to zero-emissions operations.
