More MET-MB orders for engines with low-pressure EGR

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Equipment (MHI-MME) has received an order for a MET-53MB turbocharger for a J-ENG 2-stroke engine equipped with a low-pressure EGR system.

The supplier has announced that the order relates to an order for a J-ENG 6UEC50LSH-ECO-C3-EGR type engine equipped with a low pressure EGR system. The order is scheduled for delivery in early 2023.

Since 2018, MHI-MME has delivered 30 units for engines with low-pressure EGR, in five frame sizes ranging from the MET-37MB turbocharger up to the MET-60MB.
