World largest container ship delivered

The largest container ship to date, the 9,200TEU MSC Pamela, was recently delivered by Samsung to Offen. Measuring 337 metres long, 46 metres wide and 24.6 metres draught, the newbuilding is powered by a 72,240kW MAN B&W 12K98MC diesel engine giving a service speed of 26 knots.
